Hay: "There is" bisa juga berarti "There are".
Rumusnya: Hay + Kata benda + Keterangan.
Contoh:
Hay una pluma de la mesa.
Ada sebuah pulpen di atas meja.
There is a pen on the table.
Pada kalimat tanya, Hay berarti adakah atau "Is there? bisa juga berarti "Are there?"
Contoh:
Hay algunos libros en la biblioteca?
Adakah buku-buku di perpustakaan?
